Privacy Policy
How Tinkr Print and its guides handle information. In short: we collect as little as possible.
This policy explains what information Tinkr Print (tinkrprint.com) and the guides and tools published on it (together, the "Site") handle, and why. The Site is owned and operated by Tinkr Creative, LLC ("we", "us", "our").
The short version
- We don't ask you to create an account or give us your name, email or payment details to use the Site.
- We don't set advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't sell or share personal information.
- Anything you type into a planner or calculator stays in your own browser. It is not sent to us.
- Our hosting provider and font and code providers receive basic technical data (such as your IP address) when your browser loads the Site.
Information stored on your device
Some tools on the Site, such as campaign planners and risk registers, remember what you enter using your browser's local storage so your work is still there when you come back. This data lives only on your device. We can't see it, and it is never transmitted to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for tinkrprint.com.
Information collected automatically
The Site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Like most web hosts, Netlify automatically processes technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time, in order to deliver the Site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Netlify handles this information under its own privacy policy.
Pages on the Site load fonts from Google Fonts and some code libraries from cdnjs (operated by Cloudflare). When your browser requests these files, those providers receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies. We don't receive that data.
Information you choose to send us
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and keep a record of the conversation. We don't add you to mailing lists or share your details with anyone, except where required by law.
Cookies
We don't use cookies for advertising, analytics or tracking. Our service providers may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to deliver and protect the Site.
Links to other websites
The Site links to third-party websites, such as postal services, industry associations and vendors, and may open companion pages hosted elsewhere. We aren't responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before giving them any information.
Children
The Site is intended for professionals, students and general audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because we don't collect or store personal information about visitors beyond the email you choose to send us, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or you have a privacy request under the laws where you live (for example in California or the European Union), contact us and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Security
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
