About

Classic, made friendly.

Budderfly is a hybrid typeface: the friendliness of a sans-serif with just enough serif to keep its warmth.

Hybrid, leaning sans

The heavy foot serifs are gone, so letters stand cleanly on the baseline. Small beaks remain at the top of stems, a quiet reminder of the serif ancestry.

Fluid, never jagged

Every curve is a true Bézier, and the corners are softened. Bowls are round and joins are gentle.

Even color

Moderate contrast keeps text calm and readable. Thin, Regular and Bold share the same shapes.

Warm punctuation

Apostrophes and quotation marks take the comma's shape, for a softer, more consistent texture.
